There may be some contradictions in some of these texts that were copied from older photos or pamphlets. One in particular is our League meeting time. We meet on the 3rd Monday of each month at The American Legion on Dishman Lane in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Meeting time is 1800. Please join us when you can. There is NO obligation or fee to attend, but ONLY paid members can vote on League business. Everything we do is Voluntary, but the rewards are priceless!

Chaplain's Corner

Did you hear about the accident at Fort Knox, Kentucky?
A tank ran over a box of popcorn and killed two kernels.
Did you know that laughter is good medicine? It says so in the Bible “A cheerful heart is good medicine…” (Prov. 17:22 NIV).
So, if you are feeling down, seek laughter. You may find it in a child, a funny movie, book, or friend. Allow it to consume your whole self. It may not change your circumstances, but it will change your entire outlook.
Have a blessed day, and know that God loves you!
